Q. Can I place an order over the phone?
A. Currently, orders can only be placed through our website. For bespoke orders please contact us directly at info@zia-living.co.uk
Q. When will I receive my order?
A. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 days after receiving your order, with delivery within 6 working days. Please allow 21 days for lampshades, which are made to order.
Delivery Monday-Saturday, except bank holidays.
Q. Do you deliver internationally?
A. Currently, we only deliver to the UK
Q. When will I receive my lampshade?
A. Our lampshades are made to order taking up to 21 days for delivery. If you need the lampshade sooner, please contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Q. Do you offer a gift-wrapping service for my order?
A. Unfortunately, at the current time, we are not able to offer this service. Lovely gift wrapping can be purchased on our website.
Q. I have not received an email confirmation of my order.
A. Please contact us and we will be able to confirm for you if your order was successfully placed
Q. I placed an order but forgot to use the promotional code, can I use it?
A. Unfortunately, once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to add the promotional code to the order.
Q. What items are excluded from discount codes?
A. We do not offer discount codes for the following:
- Items in the sale, which are already discounted
- Gift vouchers
- Made-to-order, bespoke or customised products
Q. What is your pattern alignment, colour and size policy?
Our handmade products and handcrafted designs may have minor variations in colour, pattern placement and size due to the nature of that product type. This may result in unique products with no two products being the same. For made-to-order lampshades, cushions and other fabric homewares, we recommend any additional product quantities are purchased at the same time to avoid such variations.
We cannot guarantee that the colour you see on your screen accurately portrays the product's actual colour. Screen images are intended as a guide only.
How do I care for my fabric?
Please refer to the fabric care labels and always follow the care instructions given.
Washing
We recommend that all fabrics, are washed with similar colours and at the temperature shown on the care label. For best results, select a non-biological detergent containing no whiteners or bleaches that may cause the colours to fade and can also damage the fabric. For handwashing fabrics, please ensure washing liquids and powders are completely dissolved before immersing the fabric items for washing.
Drying
We recommend drying the fabric on a washing line to avoid shrinkage. When using a tumble dryer, set it at the correct temperature for the fabric and do not over-dry. Please remove it once the drying cycle has finished to reduce any creasing.
Ironing
For best results, iron whilst still slightly damp, using a steam iron or low heat iron.
Fading
Overtime you may see some colour fading.
Shrinkage
Our natural fibre fabric mayhave some shrinkage. To minimise further shrinkage, do not wash or tumble dry fabrics at hot temperatures
Oil cloth products
Oil cloth is waterproof fabric and we recommend that it is not machine washed, tumble dried or ironed. Instead, we suggest you wipe clean with soapy water, rinse clean and dry with a soft cloth. Some tomato-based products, spices and pens can stain the fabric and we recommend wiping as soon as possible. If the product is creased, lay it flat, in an area with gentle heat which can help minimise creasing. Fading may occur if the product is left in direct sunlight.
