The Story Behind Zia Living

ZIA LIVING began in Norfolk, growing naturally from a love of interiors, colour and thoughtful, fabric‑led design. What started as a personal creative practice has evolved into a growing homewares studio, known for its handcrafted lampshades, custom‑coloured fabrics and contemporary prints.


Each design begins with a hand-drawn sketch and a test lino print to explore shape, texture and rhythm. From organic motifs to clean geometric patterns, every collection is developed using a blend of traditional mark‑making and modern digital techniques. This approach allows us to create fabrics in your chosen colours, tailored to complement your home or interiors project.

Our inspiration is rooted both in the Norfolk coastline — our home — with its native plants, flowers and quiet details of everyday life, and in my cosmopolitan heritage, which brings a love of bold pattern and modern simplicity. We work closely with specialist UK makers who print, stitch and assemble each piece with care, ensuring every item meets the high standards we hold for our craft.
