Design Notes / Story Behind the Design

Rhododendron is a joyful, nature‑inspired print featuring hand‑carved florals and tiny bees scattered between the petals. The design began as a lino‑cut in our Norfolk studio, where each flower and leaf was carved to capture the lively, organic shapes of Rhododendron found in woodland near home. The result is a playful bold pattern that brings warmth, colour and a touch of whimsy to any room.

This design is best suited to lamp bases, as the pattern has been positioned specifically for this orientation. Ceiling shades in the same pattern can be created through our Made to Order service.
