The Story Behind the Print

Selva is a botanical leaf print taken directly from an actual leaf collected on a woodland walk near my home in Norfolk. The design was created by inking the leaf and pressing it by hand, capturing its natural shape and surface detail. This process gives the pattern an authentic, grounded feel that sits comfortably in both modern and classic interiors.

Craftmanship

Based on my original hand‑carved lino print artwork, this design carries the subtle texture and character of a handmade print. Digital printing ensures crisp detail without losing the artisanal feel. As each piece is crafted individually, pattern placement and colour may vary slightly. For the best colour consistency across your project, we recommend ordering all required fabric in one batch.

Natural cotton linen may contain subtle flecking within the weave. This is a natural characteristic of the fibre, not a fault, and adds to the fabric’s warmth and texture.

• Available in up to 10 metre lengths. For orders of over 10 metres the fabric will be printed in 2 or more lengths.
